Welcome to Bro Coach. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Bro Coach mobile app, website, and related services (together, the "Service"), provided by Bro Coach ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What Bro Coach Is
Bro Coach lets you chat with AI-powered "coach" personas across categories like accountability, health, business, and life coaching. Coach replies are generated by large language models and are for motivation, encouragement, and general guidance only.
Bro Coach is not a substitute for professional advice. Nothing a coach says is medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other professional advice. If a coach persona references deferring to a licensed professional, take that seriously — and if you are in crisis or experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, contact local emergency services or a crisis line immediately, not the app.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to harass, abuse, or harm another person.
Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or misuse the underlying AI models, prompts, or system instructions.
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, infringing, or that violates the rights of others.
Rely on coach output as a substitute for professional medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice.
4. AI-Generated Content
Coach responses are generated using third-party large language model providers. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate despite our efforts to configure coach personas responsibly. You are responsible for independently verifying anything important before relying or acting on it. See our Privacy Policy for details on which providers process your messages and how.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Some features require a paid subscription or credits. Purchases made through the iOS app are processed by Apple via In-App Purchase and are subject to Apple's own terms and refund policies. Purchases made on the web are processed by Stripe. Prices, credit allowances, and features may change; we will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes affecting active subscriptions.
6. Coach Applications and User-Submitted Content
If you submit an application to create a coach, or otherwise submit content to the Service (including messages, facts, and knowledge-base material), you grant us a license to use, store, and process that content to operate and improve the Service, consistent with our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the rights to submit any content you provide, including any website or document content submitted for a coach's knowledge base.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the Service or other users. See our Privacy Policy for how to request deletion of your data.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated output will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bro Coach and its providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on AI-generated coach output.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
